Program Director / Instructor

Jamie Jackson

Jamie started the La Bulls in 2018 to give kids in our area a place to get better and compete in travel baseball. Jamie is the current Head Coach for the 13AAA Bulls

Jamie's lessons focus on Hitting, Catching and Infield training.

Instructor

Edward Allison

Edward was a 4 year letterman at French Settlement High School, excelling at Basketball and Baseball. Edward brings a young approached to our Lab and currently is the Assistant head coach for the 13 AAA Bulls

Edward specializes working with Outfielders, Base Runners, Hitters and Middle Infielders.

Private Lessons

Private Lessons are the best way to address the individual needs of the player. We understand that every player is different. The Bulls Lab prides itself on being able to tailor our instruction to any age and ability level. We do this by teaching “absolutes” rather than “styles.” “Absolutes” are constants in the fundamentals of hitting, pitching and defense that ALL good players have in common. This prevents our instructors from “cloning” players or teaching a student “the way we did it.” Our instructors realize that every student is built a little differently – physically, mentally and emotionally, and will fit our instruction to get the best out of every student!.

It never made sense to us why guys giving private lessons and players head coaches aren't communicating. To maximize player development, Coaches have to follow up and and incorporate changes into a players practice routine. We have processes in place to work with coaches on players needs before the lesson and follow up communication after the lesson. We are dedicated to providing results in performance, knowledge and confidence. Please click below to schedule your lessons.

Team Take-Over

Sometimes you just want a different set of eyes on your players. With our team take over, we will work with coaches to create a detailed practice plan to work on certain skills during your practice. Coaches will receive detailed feedback with a follow up plan to continue progress after the take over.

Rapsodo Pitching Evaluation

Bulls Baseball is up and running with both Rapsodo Pitching and Rapsodo Hitting. This technology helps players to learn more about their game and how to improve faster. Using the same technology trusted by professionals in both MLB and MiLB the Bulls players can see where they are doing great and where they are falling short. This gives them a faster road to getting better.

Rapsodo Pitching – gives spin rate, velocity, spin axis, horizontal break, vertical break and spin efficiency. This gives the pitcher the ability to tweak his pitches to give him the best on-field advantage.

Rapsodo Pitching Lesson Packages are priced at $75 for Bulls members and include the following:

Approximately 1 hour in-depth lesson with Rapsodo Certified Instructor (Jamie Jackson)
Advanced warmup Pre Bullpen Session
40-50 pitch bullpen (to gather data)
Every pitch tracked by Rapsodo Pitching 2.0 and Insight
Full Pitching Report to help develop a pitch arsenal
In-depth meeting afterwards to discuss information obtained that includes
- Velocity
- Spin rate
- Release angle
- Spin direction
- Vertical and horizontal movement of pitch
- Location of pitch and many other metrics
